Why you will  love working with The Hoople Group...

Are you a financial advisor? Or do you work for a Society of CPA's? We've been working with folks like you for years. We get it. And we love making things happen for you.

We're 26% more delightful to work with. In a recent J.D. Power's survey, The Hoople Group scored off the charts on being delightful. That means more time working with people you'll like and less time grinding your teeth because a call wasn't returned quickly.

We bring food to every big meeting. Bribery? Nah, just good manners.

We worry about lots of things so you don't have to. Imagine hiring a firm that could take worry off your plate so you could focus on what you're GREAT AT?

We're here when YOU need us. Because we work with clients from California to London, we're always ready to serve. One of us is a morning person and one of us is a night person. We have the clock covered so you can reach us when you need to.

Did we mention the delightful factor?

When is the last time someone blew you away with great customer service? That time is now. Please call us and tell us what's on your  mind. Then, we'll give you some ideas, bring you some chocolate, and let's see if we can help you.

Thanks for visiting and please let us know if we can help your company. Email: peter@hooplegroup.com or call (804) 447-4032.

Marketing Trends in 2009

We recently surveyed some key executives and entreprenuers about the future of...the future. Here are the results...

SurveySummary_01022009-1

Here are some things we're seeing over the next 6-12 months...

1. Don't stop marketing. I know this sounds self-serving, but let us explain. If you go radio silent, you will absolutely save money -- and nobody will know that you're still in business.

2. Think different. Make sure you work with people who aren't doom and gloom-mongers. There is enough negativity out there. Look for new opportunities and you'll find them.

3. Now is the time to negotiate media rates. I called a magazine to place an ad for a client. I asked how much it was. She said, "How much have you got!" It never hurts to ask for a lower rate.

4. Focus, focus, focus. Great marketing happens at the intersection of passion and expertise. If you're just throwing anything out there, don't be surprised that nobody cares.

5. Our smart clients don't hate this environment. If you're a competitive person, now is the time to shine. Almost anyone can make a go of it when the economy is flying...but when things look grim is when a company can really take off.

6. Smart clients are also making sure that their employees know exactly what's going on. How much do you love surprises? Neither do they. Let everyone know what's going on. Being transparent is definitely in this year.

7. Get out of the office and meet people. I'm sure you're getting calls from people who are out of work or think they soon will be. Take those calls and help. It's just the right thing to do.

8. Creativity is critical. Not for creativity sake, but because being creative sells things. And that's the goal of marketing. So whether you're doing a trade show or just want people to know about your company, now is the time to do it creatively.

9. Stay involved in your community. With companies closing and executives leaving town (no matter where you live), it's a great time to take leadership roles in organizations. People remember who stepped up when things were tough. You can be that person.

10. Don't lose your sense of humor. It's easy to do, we know. Make sure you plan some down time in the midst of the handwringing. Just take 2 minutes and watch CNN and see what's truly terrible around the world. Then pick yourself up, and get back to it.

If there is anything we can do to help you and your business, please call us at (804) 447-4032 and let's talk.
