Heidi Workman As Wachovia Securities’ Art Director, Heidi led a team of eight graphic designers responsible for producing a wide variety of materials for both
firmwide and client-facing accounts. Before joining the firm in 1992 (legacy Wheat First Securities), Heidi lent her talents to advertising agencies in
Washington, D.C. and Richmond. She is a highly-regarded graphic designer, and her work has been recognized by PIVA (Printing Industries of Virginia), CTI Paper and featured in HOW Magazine. She earned a BFA in graphic design from Old Dominion University and completed the Yale University Summer Program in Graphic Design, a graduate level course taught in Brissago, Switzerland.
When she’s not designing, Heidi serves on the board of directors for the Virginia Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association and frequently volunteers her talents to the organization. A fishing enthusiast, she’s a former International Game Fish Association fly-fishing world record holder.
Heidi also volunteers as an instructor of her other passion – tae kwon do – at Richmond Traditional Martial Arts.
Peter Kaufman
Peter began his career as a copywriter for Kobs & Draft (part of Saatchi & Saatchi) in New York. He moved to Richmond in 1994 following years spent in Boston creating a nationally-prominent campaign for The Great American Meatloaf Contest and cookbook (William Morrow & Co.). Peter has contributed his talents to Richmond ad agencies on both creative and business development teams. Peter joined Wachovia Securities in 2006 and left to start The Hoople Group in July, 2008.
Peter has provided marketing consultation and guidance for top-producing Financial Advisors, and has been frequently recognized for offering innovative strategies and a collaborative approach for consistently-improved business results. In his spare time Peter sits on the board of Hospital Hospitality House, Jewish Family Services, The American Marketing Association – Richmond, and is president of his neighborhood homeowners association because he just can’t get enough abuse. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four children. When he’s not patrolling the cul-de-sac, Peter coaches his 5-year old son’s soccer team.
